| Rokerron 2/10/10 At last I managed to get out on my own boat! Just myself and Andy today.Alan T couldn't make it,he preferred to work along with Garry! The weather has been awful on every day I have had off since returning from Canada back in August.The only day of respite for me was 2 weeks ago when I managed a trip with Alan Kirby. The fishing was patchy today.The first 2 spots produced nothing but Whiting and Dogfish.  We have decided that there are no Cod yet,even though we went off and into 65ft of water in the Black Deeps.The water was clear and fish were marking up in the water.Certainly not Mackerel as we couldn't manage one.I can confirm though that it is a 'Kennel' there.There are thousands of the sodding things.No Rokers there which was a surprise.After the second move which produced yet more Dogfish,the choice was limited.Suffer this shite or cut our loses and head for a Roker mark that normally produces a few fish. We weren't to be disappointed.Some good fish,the best one weighed in at 14lb.   A few more pictures.There is only so many Roker pictures you can take of Roker! We actually pulled off of them to try for a Cod on another mark.......We caught more Dogfish and Whiting.....Oh Joy! Andy with a nice fish of around 10lb.   The highlight of the day though I am pleased to report,is that the Diet is working well!!  Bloody trousers fell down while dealing with a fish!
