| Fished it twice in the last couple of weeks, December 2009 20 Anglers a few whiting and pout, only one codling 3lb caught, some blanked. Went last Friday just after heavy overnight snowfall, only 3 of us went pete the skipper the star took us over to the crouch end. Cold but sea perfect with strengthening wind giving colour and movement on the water, bait superb, result only one bite all day between the 3 of us with that being a 1lb codling and me with a pout that I never saw the bite. We were plagued by large clumps of persistent red weed. Felixstowe not fishing well either anyone know how Aldeburgh is Fishing? |

| Re: Orford Island aldebugh is fishing Ok from the shell sculpture to the dirty wall, Had a 6lb cod from the sculpture just a few weeks ago! Can't understand why Orford is fishing so bad this year, it's always been so good! Also worth a go is thorpeness which has produced some decent cod this year, some double figures! Good luck |
