| Re: more codling Hi Delboy, Congrats on the Codling Where abouts do you go at Hopton? My mate and his dad fished it about 3 weeks ago and ended up going home early, with no fish and minus a load of gear. They said it was full of snags. Were they just in the wrong spot? Cheers Spacemonkey |

| Re: more codling dan all caught on lug still forget the squid mate spacemonkey go down beach road down the slope head to the grones to the left but you must use lead lifts because the whole place is full of snags i only lost 1 set tuesday and that was out about 150+yards but most of the snags are 30-60 yards out but the chaps next to me were losing gear nearly every cast i can see why people go home early with a much lighter tackle box the cod will be at walcott soon will let you know when and there are no snags there when are you fishing next mate let me know __________________ He who dares wins!!!!!! www.norfolkoi.co.uk (koi carp importers) Rollesby angling centre (Norfolk)15% discount for all forum members(no discount on bait) |

| Re: more codling Ok, so the codling question has been answered. Now what about the term "poor cod"? Does this mean that some are born with a silver spoon in their mouth and some are not? Just for the record, I am also into conservation in a BIG way................only cos I don't catch bugger all!!!!! ![]() __________________ The future lays in every anglers’ hands, if you look after the sea, the sea will look after you. |

| Re: more codling Quote:
Generally it looks like a skinny Pouting with a large eye, and the scales tend to be larger than the other two fish. I don't think they're that common, at least not off the coast of Kent! Cheers, JB. |
