Gorleston Pier

Just thought I'd say hi and let everyone know about my first night session, having been convinced by my brother to have a go at sea fishing a couple of months ago, I decided that I would invest in some gear and have another go

Venue Gorleston Pier my brother and 2 mates.

Last Friday 23rd Oct

First cast around 8pm literally as soon as the weight hit the bottom the first bite and first fish.

For the next 4 hours fish after fish was being brought in, nothing special size wise but definately an experience.

Between the four of us we brought in 65 whiting, 4 flatties and 2 eels.

Only thing I would say is we need to know when to give up, at 7am we decided to call it a night having drawn blank since 5:30am.

Absolutely brilliant experience anyone just looking for a positive nights fishing then its a must.

Noteall fish were catch and release)

Re: Gorleston Pier

Great Pier but can be snaggy. Good for flatties in the River
