Advice needed

Hi all,
New to the forum and to sea fishing but looking for some advice as to affordable and suitable gear to handle conger off a breakwater.
Been out a couple of times with a mate of a mate and got the bug so any help would be greatly appreciated.

some of the conger lads up on holyhead break water use what look like heavy uptiders even seen em using boat rods in comps up there,,sure mike or geejay will put you right i hate the things lol
