up here on holderness coast the cod season is upside down
we had few cod over winter but when the crab started to mault about 3 weeks ago they arrived in big numbers along with thornbacks and smoothounds (have u have seen with some of my reports)

just goes to show that seasons mean nothing and the cod are totally motivated by food

if the food is there so are the fish

its a weird feeling fishing a clean shallowish beach in june/july catching cod to 5lb along with smoothies, bass and thornys

if this is global warming... BRING IT ON!!!
