| witches point,sat 1 feb fished witches point 2 down,6up,2down,had 4lb codling second cast,fished big rag and squid baits. had a couple of clonking bites later but alas no more fish. fingers crossed for a spring run.  regards     |

| Re: witches point,sat 1 feb good going as of late have only had very small codling this year but on all occasions i have ended up fishing when there is an easterly blowing.how do others find it when the wind is from the east? but on this occaision at witches point it is safer than fishing a werterly as there is always the danger there of a freak wave coming in!!! |
