yer i normally only fish chesil in summer so this time off yr there is new to me is it like that alot over this time off yr as dont wanna waste a day and night and couple hours driving there and back lol

Yes I was down at the Portland end of Chesil in the carpark about 3 weeks ago. It was pouring with rain & blowing a gale. There was this guy wearing a wetsuit & carrying a windsurfer & looking a bit P----d off. Somebody had just nicked his car. He had no phone, money or way of getting home. The guy at the visitor centre was helping him out though. Worst part was that he saw his car being driven away just as he got to the carpark!!!
