Birds In Cages!?

Went round my auntes yesterday for a cuppa
and found she was well chuffed to have brought a budgy
and cage! over my tea it struck at how cruel this was,
i mean a bird designed to be in a large nomadic flock reduced
to being stuck in a 2x3 cage! solitary confinment for the rest of its
life, the poor beast will surely go out of its mind with only a mirror
for company! the thought of this and the fact that its a popular
hobby/intrest in this country of so called animal lovers actualy
made me feel a bit sick!
i didnt say anything in fear of hurting her feelings

any thoughts?

put down under the annoying little yappy dog act

yeah fare play! tho that post concerned a celebrity chefs
terrior that oh so sadly slip off his mortal coil at the grand age of 17!
this is a young bird that will never be able to fly or see the sky
(im a poet and didnt know it) just struck me as a bit sick thats all!
as its common practice.

please cuckoo dont tell me your also crying into ya beer over
a celebrity chef terrior!
the little scrot didnt even cook anything!

I cant believe no group has got onto it , if Chalkie the mut had been kept in a cage

must admit never really worried about the caged birds you see in brighton




but up near my parents there is a free colony of parakeets and admit am far happier seeing them like this rather than cage

trouble is really any pet people have is a trapped animal really, never did get the reptile thing

A lot of the older generation like caged birds , easy to keep , and a little company !!!! me i used to keep cockatils in an aviary , but had to give them away , as next doors cats all 5 of them spent all there time in my garden !!!!!
