| Photographing catches Hi, I need some advice on setting up and taking catch photographs on my own - think i know who can help here! as a billy no mates, since I moved out to the Fens (and not many passing dog walkers at 2:00am) i've have missed out on a lot of photo's of good fish Got a reasonable camera, with the usual options and 8 X Optical zoom and a half decent tripod Once I have the basic idea I guess its a case of practice - hope the replies are useful to everyone! | Re: Photographing catches Using your view finder mark out the edges of the picture area on the ground with small sticks (so that you know where to pose with your catch. Then use a bank stick or similar to mark out the hight of your pose/catch. Once you know the approximate area for your pose you just have to use the timer to take the picture. It may sound a bit of a hassle but once you get used to it you should be ok. Then again some one else may have an easier way! ![]() |

| Re: Photographing catches Good tips there - this is something I must start doing as pics of fish on the floor are great but are not as good as in your hands Nuts more to carry __________________ Richard|Sea Fishing |Carp Fishing| Spud Gun | Zander fishing | Fishing Reports | Hunting Reports |

| Re: Photographing catches a mate told me to practice in the garden,he said he set up his camera in the back garden and kept taking pics of himself holding a pillow until he got it right i think in my case i should practice using a pin cushion ![]() |
