Exclamation A momentary return...

.. SOrry I've been a little bit absent recently... My car has been dominating my life at the moment and the rods & tackle are languishing in a store room. Had a few problems that maybe you fishing people don't really have any interest in, but I have to tell someone. lol

1) New front mounted intercooler pipework didn't match up to new big turbo, so had to "manufacture" some to adapt to it.

2) New engine's wiring didn't match up to rest of wiring in the engine.... Had to get a loom and get in installed.

3) THIS new loom didn't match up to loom in the dashboard and rest of car, cue much removal of EVERYTHING inside the car and fit new matching loom in there (still ongoing now)

4) Well, if there's a number 4) I'm setting fire to the thing!

Once everything is settled car-wise, I hope to be back with my rod in my hand (oo-er) and getting back to catching some bigger bass.

Yup! The amount this car has cost me in last 3 months is pretty scary, but once done it will simply be there to enjoy and use (perferably as the finest way between my home and various fishing spots. )

But the money spent on this baby will be worth it. It'll be one of the ultimate Skodas in the UK.

I admit the green bumper looks a little crap, but its all green now and with a 2nd coat its looking good. Also that is the Skoda "vRS" racing green, but will be mostly hidden by the returning bumper which is in the bodyshop being tweaked.

I love the chav comment. I admit its been heavily modified, but this is for top performance, not with a "bangin' sound system" or "bad boyz 120 db exhaust" neither the usual underfloor "blingin' neon"

Its gonna be a 220bhp(ish) diesel smog monster.
