 I'm back... just got back from a week long biology feild trip on coastal ecology. not going to bore you with details but the place where i went to, dale in SW Wales, is absolutely inundated with MULLET. it was incredible, on the salt marsh side of t5he peninsula, there is a permanent salt water pool that only fills at the highest tide, and in it are absolutely TONS of mullet, as you walk alongside it they skim the surface and even if you thow a stone in, they just laze around in the shallows. even in the sea, you can sea them skimming the surface everywhere only about 10 feet out in about 3 foot of water max!!!! is this goldmine well known, i am going back this summer for a mullet fishing holiday, here is the map: the salt marsh is in the estuary(also containing mullet) north of dale village the pool is easy to find (just south of estuary) i was thinknign that this would be a perfect place for a "fishing-forum holiday" the only problem is that you cant camp on dale land and the nearest sites are a little further north(did see one guy camping in his car with BBQ and gear) i feel the mullet fever coming on!!!! __________________ -Nostalgia ain't what it used to be. -Hard work has a future payoff.
