Re: music They were big in the 80's Ben. Toured with a lot of the big names, GnR is an example. They played in front of 200,000 at an open air rock festival in Texas. What a buzz that must have been. Geoff actually turned down the rythm guitar slot in GnR on the account of Axel Rose being a prat. They used Geoff's flat in London while he was on tour and when he got back Axel had trashed the place in another one of his drunken rages. He is still good mates with Slash and I think they do some work together occassionaly. They play good honest hard rocking numbers. Great stuff. __________________ Back to the fizzy pop league for another season

Re: music I think Kerrang TV had a track being played recently. Total Guitar is a great mag for learning. Lot's of stuff for you to progress with as well. Norfolk, what amp do you use? Have you heard of the Line 6 Guitar processor? I use that at home, wired into my laptop and pumped out through some decent speakers. It basically models a lot of head and cab units so you can get any sound you want with a click of the mouse button. It is really accuratre as well because we dialled in the settings from the Line 6 unit into a Marshall setup and the sound was so close it's scary. There are also a fine array of pedals you can wire up too. Compressors, Chorus, Distortion etc. Pretty cheap too. Comes in around £120. __________________ Back to the fizzy pop league for another season

Re: music Wah-wah pedal. Practising lots of Hendrix stuff then. I think the Line 6 would be a good option if you have your own PC and speakers. __________________ Back to the fizzy pop league for another season
