Wow !!! whilst hunting in dads attick today. found a book of his thought long forgotten

"Mr Crabtree Goes Fishing
A guide to fishing all the year round"

first edition as well and its still in good nick
remember reading it as a kid and has some good advice ,still but not sure too about how PC itis for these days (as in..." lets go get a fish too put in a glass case" ) but still a good read

I remember reading that book as well.

Keep it safe as it could be worth a few quid to a collector

The drawings used to be so good almost like a black and white piccy

I bet they had "Lashings of Ginger Beer" in their lunch box
