Re: Aquariums

TJ, love your cichlids. In my opinion, the best looking tropical fish. My dad used too keep them, quite aggressive though.

Re: Aquariums

They are not that hard to keep but the water has to be kept very clean. There are two types of chiclids lake malawi and lake tang something or other as long as you dont mix the two you are ok. Also before i buy a new fish i look on the internet to read about the nature of the fish. Some fish hug the bottom others middle and some the top;. Its al about getting the balance right.

they are great to look at tho and love eating live shrimp!!!

Re: Aquariums

I just cleaned the tank out this morning, its amasing how dirty they get this time of year with all the new growth.

Just a couple more for you to have a look at.

Re: Aquariums

Love them pics Mate..they come out really clear!!

just a few more of my marine cratures for ya.......not as good quality as yours but still worth posting me thinks!!

First pis is my one sea urchin that i have in the tank!! he moves quite fast really! does about two circuits of the tank a day! easy to keep and make the tank look realistic,

Just another pic of my boxer shrimp......love his colors and he is quite agressive towards the clowns....lol well tries to be....bless him!

My Star fish....love him to bits.....aint seen him for a few days now...doesnt move round that often but i think his gone behind the rocks!! he moves about 6inches a day max...thats if he can be bothered!! lazy git!

And this is the weird one.....lol my sea apple! hadnt moved for ages since i had the tank infact and all of a sudden his gone mad....lol he moves round in the night and rests in the day!! not the best looking thing in the world but yet again gives the tank that realistic look!

So there you go a few more pics from me.....willl try get a pic of a couple of my fish....the only problem is my camera seems to slow to catch em without em bluring

cheers

Ollie.

Re: Aquariums

Try going to the manual setting and using a highish iso speed, about 400 should do it, then use a fast shutter speed, the faster the better.
Try different white balance or even try a pre-selected feature like scenic or sports mode.My close ups were done with a high macro setting as well.
Good luck, cant wait to see your fish.
