Re: Dinner Time For Sharks

brilliant quality video

there is no way i'd have that shark in that position at 1min 40....i'd be terrified!!!

must put them in some sort of trans with the metal chainmail he's wearing and the electrical field that the sharks use.

Bill that is breathtakingly amazing! It seems to defy the long-held belief that sharks will rip you limb from limb when given the chance. I'm sure that is indeed the case when they are hungry but I would imagine that perhaps those sharks in the video are not only well used to the presence of the diver, but well fed beforehand too. Nevertheless it's fantastic footage. Kind regards. John R.

Fantastic footage , that man either needs a medal or a visit to a mental hospital ,gives a false sense of what Sharks are capable of doing to a man.

Those beasts will tear you to shreads , given half a chance , you only have to see the Blues on the boat off Milford , any chance they get they will bite any thing close to them, and the Porbeagles seem to calculate their next move , and will actually follow you and take a lunge across the deck at you.

Totally agree with you Mike. Do you think it possible that if they were regularly well fed and satisfied they'd be less likely to bite at everything in sight? If so, maybe that's why the diver seems not to be at risk, maybe they get fed loads just before he enters the water. I dunno; maybe sharks would not be a threat to man if they weren't hungry? But I would imagine they are ALWAYS hungry in the wild where competition for food is very high and that's why they have the reputation of always attacking man.
