Embedding " You Tube " video in your threads

Lots more people are shooting videos and loading em up on You Tube ,so here`s how to embed them into your thread directly ,instead of a link which takes you away form the forum page.

1. You need 2 windows open ( your thread window ,and your YouTube video window)..... same principal as if your going to post a picture .

2. In the You Tube window ,right click and select copy on the windows explorer address box at the top of the page ,to copy the video page link.

http://www.youtube.com/user/fishingf.../0/VGnslGoq5DI

3. Go to your thread window , select the small you tube icon ( top right),and {YOUTUBE}{/YOUTUBE} ,will appear in
thread box.

4. There will be a cursor flashing in gap between the 2 sets of brackets (dead centre),right click and paste the link from the You Tube window , and you should now have this

{YOUTUBE}http://www.youtube.com/user/fishingforum#p/a/u/0/VGnslGoq5DI{/YOUTUBE}

If you post the thread now ,you will end up with a blank white box and no video !!!!!!!




5. You now need to trim the You Tube link ,so that the video will show in the thread ,in front of the last group of letters/numbers ,there is usually an = sign ,or a / ,click behind this and remove all of the link back to the {YOUTUBE} ,you will then have this

{YOUTUBE}VGnslGoq5DI{YOUTUBE}

The Video will show directly in the thread you are posting .....



Thanks to Pingu for telling me how to do it in the first place & hope this makes sense....The clip is of a well known forum angler Richard (Admin) in action ,and please take note there are a couple of bits of adult language at the end no one told me the camera recorded sound

tryagain-hhmmm don't work here that way
ie- select embed, select size , copy & paste in code,

i'll bow to mrg2000 he's got it sussed here.
