Lol, I do my best to 'get rid' and usually it works! it doesent happen very often but deffo more so when I decide to fish the local canal! as the OP stated you have to weigh up the violent consequences of telling them to P.O! especially if they have there little 'gang' with them! luckily for me the worst thing that's happend in these situ's is I got spat at (########)!! like most though I aint botherd about ME but I am botherd about my gear!! lol

Try this, If they start pestering you, and talking about all the fish they have caught etc etc, - turn round and say "Thats all very interesting, but now lets talk about the love Jesus has for us all" - its also a good line to use when you get nuisance phone calls from double glazing, insurance, and fitted kitchen salesmen!
