Angling is a sport, people who use feathers in confined spaces such a piers endanger everyone and take up large portions of the available space. Catching several fish at a time is not sport its commercial fishing. Wasting those fish is a crime, bigger fish like Bass and Cod depend on mackerel for food. When people are float fishing the floats all drift together to left or right, Feathering straight out crosses all those lines and is selfish.
