| Lakes Snaps Part Two By gosh they have got it! these signs should be everywhere nowadays with the invention of the common garden Chav   The Quarry at Hodge Close - this water is spectacularly deep...and the quarry must be 100+ feet high above the water as well...if anyone has been there they will know!      And a dead sheep...on dead sheep wolf man island where the deadly sheep killer lurks! (according to my 13 yr old cousin!)  and a nice view on a walk after Tarn Hows - that dashing person sporting the shorts and red hiking socks is the one and only tat!  Looking out across Coniston from the Torver Commons jetty  __________________ "Alright Jack, we all ready to fish?" "Yeah!" "Did you bring the rods?" "Errmmm...."     |
