smoking ban/social /darts /pub etc(almost a month on)a non smokers view

Looks comical now when you drive past all the pubs @ bars,there all outside as said it has ruined the social aspect of going out.Democracy has gone right out the window in this country,get the nanniests I say,gave up smokes myself 15 months ago but do not agree with the blanket ban.

well tonight as some will know (i know i'm a text bandit)i hit my first ever 180 in a match
there were 6 people in pub to witness all rest were "grabbing a fag "

felt a bit deflated as if had been last winter would have been a big cheer!!!

oh well lets see what happens when the weather changes for the winter season

i have to say i agree with foggy..

i am a barman in a hotel.. the guests in the hotel are all paying the same per night to stay within that building.. yet some are getting more than others.. simply because they smoke..

i can understand the nonsmokers side to it but.. if you dont like smoking or breathing 2nd hand smoke... then dont go to a smoking pub.. its simple... if you dont like indian food you dont go there.. if you dont like golf on the telly you dont put it on!.. why goto a smoking pub and complain about the smoke!!

it would of been far easier to make it compulsory for pubs to have to section the bar off and have both rooms air conditioned with one room smoking one room non smoking...possibly not practical in some pubs and so those pubs should be made non smoking..

in the work place.. well we have always had a smoking room at work and the non smokers at any time did not have to go into that room so in my opinion i should not have needed to stop smoking indoors at work because the only people it was effecting was the people who chose to come into that room.

however the ban is here and although i am a smoker that is my choice and it wont stop me smoking ..

on another note.. they say this ban is in place to improve health ect...those smokers who were more likely to suffer chest infections ect because they smoke... now will have to stand out in the cold and wet ... how will that improve health?

Not been able to get on net,just moved and previous provider messed me around,give you a guess it is a well known fruit.
Anyway as I read somewhere where are all these non smokers who where supposed to be in these pubs,now almost empty someone kidding us?
