| catfishing and baits I think this site needs a new thread for catfishermen, so I am starting one. I am interested in where people fish, what they have caught, and what they use for bait. If you have any ideas for stink, punch, or other homemade dough type baits please post them. I tryed using a playdough recipe that I found on the internet this week. I replaced the water in the recipe with tuna juice and took what I came up with fishing. The verdict is this; it will stay on the hook for the first cast and the fish just eat it off the hook without picking up the hook. So it needs work, but I am putting that one aside for now as I have other ideas I am working on. I will let you know how they turn out. __________________ Well I love her and I love to fish All day I'm on this lakeshore and hell is all I catch. She met me at the door today and said I would have to choose, if I hit that fishing hole today than she would be gone by noon....WELL IM GONNA MISS HER when I get home today. (brad Paisley)     |

| catfish sub-forum We do need a our own forum for catfishing, but I guess there are alot of species that do not have sub-forums, like bass, salmoniods etc. __________________ Well I love her and I love to fish All day I'm on this lakeshore and hell is all I catch. | Re: catfishing and baits I went fishing tonight and caught four yellow bullheads. Three of them where caught on corn soaked in sourkraught and the other one was caught on fatback dyed red with food coloring. I had plenty of bites on the fatback, but could not get the hook set. I think it was a little too tough for the bullhead I was catching. I was hoping for a few larger channels, but that did not work out. __________________ Well I love her and I love to fish All day I'm on this lakeshore and hell is all I catch.
