| River Ebro Holiday Summer 2011 Hello all, I have over the last few years been able to convince my mother that we should go on fishing holidays, she likes to just sit at the lake and relax and my dad, brother and i enjoy the fishing! The last few years have progressed from a week in england visiting a few commercial waters, to spending a week on the Thames, then a week at angler's paradise, then a week carping in France but i want this to be the year that we visit the might river Ebro! My mother being a typical women isn't worried what the fishing is like aslong as the accommodation is nice and up to her high standards, a good trip will be had by all if this is the case! So ideally what i am looking for at the minute is possible companies to showcase to the parents, What i am sort of looking for is a company that has basically the whole package; the accom., the guiding, the tackle hire etc etc I know there are so many if you just google a search, but i want to know if anyone on here has any first hand experience. | Re: River Ebro Holiday Summer 2011 Hi Justin. When I lived in Spain a couple of years ago, I was a fishing guide and angling journalist. I put up a post of one of my trips to the Ebro at Caspe, which in my opinion is the best place to go. You can find the post here: River Ebro Trip I used to work with a local guide called martin Walker from Catfish Capers http://www.catfishcapers.co.uk/ I can only sings his praises. He was fantastic. However I am not sure if Martin is still guiding or has gone back to the UK and left his business to be run by two of his top guides. | Re: River Ebro Holiday Summer 2011 Hi Justin, I don't know if you got off on your fishing holiday? but earlier this summer, my father in law went to the north of spain and did some fishing with a company in the region of Navarra. They supplied everything other than the flights and transfers, he was based in Pamplona (Bull country) and has been singing it's praises ever since. Google Navarra and fishing, should be ok.
