Catfish fishing with clonk

Has anyone heard of clonk fishing? It's very popular in Europe but here in USA it's still a new fashion. I'm trying to make more people familiar with this technique because it is worth trying. If someone has heard of clonks please share your opinions. If you are from people who haven't heard but are interested in I can give our website where you can find a lot of info unless admins consider this as an advertisement. i have used the method in Hungry , very productive in the rivers ,,
we dont have enough of them over here for it to work .

Heard of it first about 5-8 years ago and could have sworn that I had heard about it's use in America or possibly Canada but perhaps it was Europe after all? It's certainly a method that seems to work, although I have no experience of trying it myself as never fished for Cats before. From what I remember though it seemed to be a technique that you would only really use from a boat (not that you couldn't use it from the bank but I'd have thought it would be largely pointless).

You are absolutely right! It's used from a boat because using it from the bank your chances are zero :)

Only ever used it when i went over to Hungrey mate
i have never seen it used in the uk
