Re: Cats in the Exeter Canal

There are rumours that they are in there but i have never heard of them being caught.

The canal gets very weedy during the summer months tho can be a night mare if bottom fishing.

Re: Cats in the Exeter Canal

I have definately heard of catfish in the canal now from several sources, where to target them god knows its a long lake

would think tough to actually target if sparce in the length of the canal

Re: Cats in the Exeter Canal

If they are in there the way would be to spend hrs walking the bank at night looking for scattering fish
area,s of high weed growth as well

or just put a good smelly bait in , cats travel a long way looking for food so they will proberly find you before you find them
