like your thinking geffski, just need to look around and find accomodation , you can get a ferry from portsmouth to bilbao and drive the rest of the way,it can be done
how about hiring a minibus for a crowd of us ?
a bit of research and maybe this could be possible,

Re: catfish expedition 2009

I think I would like to do the guided trip. To find the good cats, have the tackle needed laid on, have someone used to handling them, organising the licences etc would make it a holiday for me.

I might be tempted to do a drive and survive type trip on a second or third trip, but first time I would be going blind so having someone else doing the hard work would be nice.

The one that Paul has put up does not look that expensive when you consider that all you need is to add a flight to that price, I quite fancy something like that, even though that trip is only for a maximum of 3 anglers. I will do a bit of hunting as I am laid up at the moment and see if I can find some other options.

2009 is a long way off but a rough idea of who is interested and prices would be good to sort out now.

Re: catfish expedition 2009

Had a quick look, here are some to have a look at

look at package 3

bit more mix'n'match

have a look at the winter warmers

most of these trips are for small parties, I have not found any that do parties of more than 4, so if a couple of smaller groups want to do different ways of doing it then it might work out.

Re: catfish expedition 2009

i see wot you mean but most supply bnb,s tranfers etc
they dont do this at cost price, they get ther cut so alot more
expensive than if we got our own taxis, sorted our own grub
and got our own accomadation i,e half decent hostels camp sights or just bivvy up!

Re: catfish expedition 2009

i can help if you want an all inclusive one fellas no hasle no worrys no problems accomodation no need to drive and most importantly a guarenteed catch . and when we say guarenteed catch we dont mean one or two fish we mean a lot of big catfish and yes over 100lbs. no cons no rip off holidays and no problems . if this is what you want then look no further we promise you first class everything you need. and we will not be beaten on anything at all. if you can get a guarentee like this let me know.
