That's going to take some getting used to!

Enjoyed the last couple of days even though I failed to net a cat. That was my first experience of the "bivvy" style of fishing and although I'm probably not converted, it was fun and will happily do it again.

Thanks for the hospitality, good company and the general laid back weekend.

Welcome to the Forum Neil. It was nice to meet you, but I think it may have been a little on the warm side for ideal fishing conditions. Still it was a fun weekend. Hopefully see you again on some of our other meets.

Whilst I'm predicting a distinct lack of catfish, I've gotta admit, I'm seething with jealousy, I've never been to anything like this before, and it looks like you all had great fun! Regardless of what you caught, or did not catch, I'm glad you had a great time, and hope, one day to have a crack at something like that myself!
