First Session (might not be another till france)

Well,

last night I had a go for the Cats, down at a large complex. Given the mild weather, recent reports and the fact that this lake is naturally warm (sheltered, trees etc)

I was a bit limited to area's i could fish as there were already a number of anglers on the lake, but i carefully chose a spot and using marker float, confirmed depth and bottom and selected three likly spots.

I spodded 8mm Halibut pelletts to each (not to little, but not ott as its still early) and fished a 30mm halibut in a PVA bag on the bottom, 2 X 30mm popped up 9 inches off the bottom on another and finally my old favourite half a tin of Nice n Spicy Luncheon meat Hair Rigged.

I have to say I had the best nights sleep in ages!

Only one single beep all night

Next outing is in 2 weeks when I will be after large tench

Roll on France and the open season, so I can get on the drains for Perch and Eels......................
