Fishing with no loose feed Hey guys. I'm fairly new to carp fishing the other week I tried fishing with just a single 15mm boillie and a size 8 hook. I DId not catch anything and I was wondering whether you can catch with just a single bait. Any help appreciated Thanks Matt

Re: Fishing with no loose feed you can in the winter fish with single baits but its hard id dredge it in loads of bait batter ,,friend i fish with takes a few with a single snowman rig in winter what you have to rem in winter carp wont waste energy looking for bait that is not going to fill the tank so to speak its not worth wasting thier reserves ..just because you did not catch does not mean they are not there and you have it all wrong wait for a day when the temp comes up a bit and warms the water slightly i have a thermometer i use to check this take a couple of days to flick a couple of baits in your fav swims ,,you will catch good luck

Re: Fishing with no loose feed I used to use only a single bait with no pre baiting or free offerings in small corners of lakes with much success ! I would look for known patrol routes and those areas usually in corners or "neck-ends" or "turning places" in margins. These are the spots to carefully place a bait. Ripple.
