| Re: rig tubeing or ledcore ? Do you mean to lay the line on the lake bed? It's worth remembering leadcore is banned on some fisheries. I used to use leaders or weighted tubing but was converted onto using back leads by Fishypaul from this forum. Since then I've never used a leader and just attach the back lead before casting. |

| Re: rig tubeing or ledcore ? I Use Tungsten Weighted Tubing With a Flying Back Lead. I Would Use Leadcore If I Needed To. I Have Seen Some Nasty Leadcore Rigs And Do Understand Were Some Venues Ban The Use Of Leadcore And Leaders. |

| Re: rig tubeing or ledcore ? backleads all the way, i prefere the clip on after casting ones then line from rod to ledger is pinned down __________________ A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work................ | Re: rig tubeing or ledcore ? i would only use leadcore if fishing over a sharp gravel bar or mussel bed where there is a chance that the mainline could be worn away on a take. but that is only a last resort, if just to pin down the line i'll use backleads or slack lines with a fluoro leader. if you decide leadcore is what you need in your situation just make sure that any carp that does snap you off they can shed the lead easily. __________________ If it was easy, it would be called catching.
