Chod Rig?

I know how to make Chod rigs but have visually never appealed to me for some reason! Im normally using a hair rig with a method feeder or just a rig on the ledcore! Can someone who uses the chod rig please tell me how it works for ya?

Seems things have come full circle, just looks like a helicopter rig with a short stiff link?

I only ever use a chod over a weedy lake. I find them to be very effective. It's also one I can leave out all night knowing its tangle free and fishing.

If the bottom is normal I use a standard bottom bait hair rigged.
