Spod & Marker Braid

Can anybody please recomend a good spod/marker briad. I do like were ever possible in the right conditions fishing @ 110+ yards plus just to out range the compotion. (which i am am reaching at the moment with 10lbs bullet braid & 50lbs 20ft armmacord leader)not looking for a line to help add extra yardage just one that will not hinder my cast. I will stick to my set up if needed but just seeing if there are any recomendations out there.

Re: Spod & Marker Braid

Scoobydoo222 I would recommend Whiplash pro in 30lb it is very thin compared to Nash bullet braid plus it floats so getting the spod back up onto the plane on retreive is much easier mate. For real extreme range Whiplash pro in 20lb but be careful it is about as thin as 5lb mono.
This article might help a little

Re: Spod & Marker Braid

Ive just loaded up with Kinetic Marker Braid by gardner ,
First impressions seems good
For my spodding i still use a mono line and a mono shock leader usually amnesia ,served me well for many yrs

Re: Spod & Marker Braid

Whiplash 30lb straight through for me on both set ups.

Tried lots of different ones always go back to whiplash, just gives me confidence, one thing you do need when your spodding.

Never had a crack off yet and been spodding for lots of years. have to wear finger stall though nothing worse than a slit finger on the first cast.
