Running Rigs

Ive just joined a club in Fleetwood that doesnt allow fixed leads. I have not been carp fishing long and up to now only used the Korda lead clips.
Can any suggest any good running rigs to try or to steer clear of for that matter.
Thanks
Mick

Re: Running Rigs

dont know who makes them but i use a simple run ring for attatching lead , is large plastic ring + clip has done me ok all the time, just need a bead befoire swivel to aid cast etc, a snap swivel will do it but more abrasive on line, not used the korda yet(best sort that out befor may )

Re: Running Rigs

Thanks Kevin thats brilliant.

Theres nothing worse than going into a tackle shop and being overwhelmed by all the different choices. It gets very confusing at times for someone like myself. I dont like asking for advice if there are loads in the shop and thats usually the case.

Thanks again

Mick

Re: Running Rigs

I like the second one Kev but would suggest that it's even more effective if you do away with the tubing or leader and replace it with 1 metre of heavy guage fluoro carbon. The lead moves more easily and bites show up better.
