Yes mate that's a very old picture. There still excavating the new lake around blue water and that's going to be huge

Great read and some super fish. I bet the sturgon puts up a good fight.

It did put up a good fight. It also takes a long time for it to recover. I had to hold the fish in the margins for 30 mins to recover. They use so much energy trying to get away that there knackered when you land them

good to here theres a sturgeon still there
and its good to see a fishery wwhere the owners are still improveing the place and not just letting it lie as well

NB. I have never caught a sturgeon, maybe this year if I'm lucky and all goes to plan.

after reading about some success people have had with english carp on maggots and maggot clips......anyone reckon it maybe worth taken a load with me?

Yeh its worth a try..The carrefour supermarket i mentioned with the fishing tackle sells maggot's

Yep
i cool my right down ,then put in a coolbox with lots of ice packs placed around them , kept like this i get a week out of them

i was thinking of getting a load and trying them on a medusa rig like i say this is really doing the biz on some big carp waters over here i cant find anything on it being tried ect in france.....

only bit that bothers me is the catfish like em too i believe
