i was curious about catfish tactics and bait etc,he didnt tell me anything new but he did add this ;

" You could bring some lob worms as there have been some big perch seen also zander! Some pike to 15lb have been caught on both spinners and small dead baits."

very! paul where did you get a bucket of lobworms from last time?.. will you be getting more? if so i wouldnt mind going half on a bucket full with you just for perch bait! i think i have spinners somewhere.. clip the barbs i assume and change them too a single hook?

another question.. maybe a silly one... euro's or visa for filling with petrol?... i didnt want to have to fill up in france.. partly cos i speak no french at all lol... but i have worked out calais to the lake is around 260 miles and my car wont do 520 on a tank full! unless someone has a rope?


i will let you know tomorrow morning if i can get hold of some radios.. a friend had a set of 4 or 8 but i dont know if he still has them

just to add i spoke to jim a while back and he said he would prefer it if people was thinking of using his particles you could let him know a few days before so he had time to prepare them

Yea we travelled in convoy last time... I have the longest journey by far I would like to fill with petrol at dover .. There must be a station near the dock? I just wanted to know so I knew how much euros to take with me how much is the toll each way? I can't remember

But yes if your ordering worms I will go half on a bucket just let me know how much
