cheers for the reply, if you can drive to the swim, i dont mind sleeping in the van, i just cant sleep on a bed chair because of my bad knees. thanks lads

Ring Farm lakes mate , iam sure they would let it happen as a one off , it would limit the swims you fish , but it would not be a problem iam sure

At lottinghen (45 mins from Calais) there a few swims where you can park the car just a couple of yards behind you.....

Have a look at Bills Lake. google bills lake france. I went to lake 3 last year and had a good time catching fish to 44lbs but He as 3 lakes and one has a caravan. I am going there in two weeks so I will give you a report then.
Its near Chalons en champagne about 2 1/2 hours from the ferry. Easy drive on the motorway
