What's the score on accomodation & Tackle out there Sean? I like to use my own gear when possible, although i'm not sure it would cope with the lunkers that you describe.... ![]() __________________ Don't Judge My Path If You Haven't Walked My Journey...

Re: anyone thinking of fishing france in 2009 Hi Ian. Accommodation varies widely. It really depends on when level you want. It can be as low as €15 per night. If you hire a guide then tackle is normally included. I always include the tackle in my trips. I am not on the look out for business for myself, because as you know Ian I want to return to the UK in the next few months. __________________ Check my blog for a daily fishing forecast from Weymouth, Portland, Chesil Beach & Kimmeridge Bay. www.fishingtails.co.uk

Re: anyone thinking of fishing france in 2009 I fish in France several times per year mainly large public lakes or the big rivers, if you havnt fished a big river I would recomend it. They are a safari in themselves. My favourite French river is the Mosselle - awsome looking carp and have been caught to over 70 lb.
