France fishing

Dear all,

I would like to ask for any advice regarding my property in Brittany, France
which happens to be 10 minutes away from the European Specimen Angling
Centre at Loscouet sur Meu (Le Lac Fishabil).
From spring, 2008 we are hoping to offer guest accommodation in the form of
Bed, breakfast and evening meal within the main farmhouse.
Can you suggest where we might advertise this and if this is the sort of
thing that would appeal to Carpers and other anglers alike .
The house is large and attractive and there are many other lakes and rivers
in the area. We think we will initially offer one en-suite room with two
single beds with an additional room available (sharing that same
bathroom). The idea being, that small groups of anglers could go away
together or a family.
We are new to this so any advice on what angler would expect would be much appreciated.
My email is: robertellis.toadwood@virgin.net

Thanks, R

European Specimen Angling

Why dont you just drive down to European Specimen Angling
Centre at Loscouet sur Meu and ask the anglers if what you might be offering would suits them and also the amount they would be willing to pay ?

Carp anglers dont do B&B as they camp out for there whole trip

Re: France fishing

Hi richard

thanks for the advice, Perhaps we could offer some camping space as well or do you mean that anglers would be fishing all day and all night - so want to camp by the lake?

If so, I guess we'll only appeal to people wanting to do abit of fishing whilst on a family holiday.

Cheers, Rob

Re: France fishing

When I go fishing for a long period I bivvy up next to the lake, fish all day and night, B&B would really only appeal to the family holiday types, the fishermen would probably want to just fish.

Re: France fishing

Cheers guys,

Any idea how I can let the 'so called' family holiday types know about the place?
Don't you ever go away with your families wishing/hoping you could get in a bit of fishing?

Rob
