Re: late summer trip to france

What a disaster this trip was .First of all the journey to Dover took 8 hrs , Then the ferry was late .
Arrived at the lake at 1am in the morning .
got to swim to find out a irate Frenchman was on it , and was told we could not fish till sun ,So we fished a different swim sat /sun morn, Went to original swim ,still an irate Frenchman who was very drunk, so ended up with a mass shouting match in my broken French ,
Eventually got set up when he left to return to his home town .
Sun night warm , mon /tues am storm big time .camera got soaked
no fish ,
Tues Amanda had a 23lb carp
wed no fish
thurs 5 fish between us ,biggest 30lb
Fri more fish Biggest was mine at 35lb
I ended up with 9 and Amanda 3 fish
so at the end it turned out ok
Amount of bait used was
150 kg partiblend /maize Hemp and about 50 kg of boilies for 6 rods
Yesterday i received a phone call from the lake owner offering us a free week in November
