| Re: All systems go for France 2008 great ok i will leave my mat at home then... thats a little bit of space saved in daves car! took a little visit to the tackle shop today just to pick up some bait for a carp trip tomorrow...nothing special just a local lake to me.......only went for a bag of kg1 boilies!......came home 50 quid lighter!!!! got various little needed things... backleads hooklength material some more swivels (cos you never know when you might need them!) why is fishing so damn expensive?!?! i saw these cute little lead weights...with fox stamped on them......oooh must buy a couple! yeah 1.50 each!!! blimey! they were only 1 oz leads... i can melt down my 5oz leads for the beach and make 5 out of 1 5oz grip lead lol! ok rant over lol back to saving again! __________________ fishing for fish is not as simple as you may think! |

Essentials in red Non-fishing equipment Rucksack or carryall Wash kit Soap Razor Deodorant Anti Chaffing cream talc - Tooth paste and brush Towels bath and hand Medication Change of underwear and socks Change of clothing including a warm item just in-case. Spare footwear, as I found out myself last year Thanks Dave Kettle and small burner and tea or coffee Sun cream Bivvy Chair Bed chair Sleeping Bag Pillow, you will be amazed how much better it is with a pillow Waterproofs Small Table or some sort of bait waiter Fishing Kit Rods Reels Spare Bulk spool of line Rod pod or bank sticks Bucket For bait and other uses Air dry bag Extra Hooks, Leads, hook length material etc braid, nylon and Floro carbon PVA Material Fishing Towel Extra Bait that one might want to take Spare Catapult {Trouble have you still got mine?} I cant think of anything else yet but Im certain I will, and other people will add their bits to the list as well. __________________ "The muscles of 20 men, and the brains of 20 mussels", |

| Re: All systems go for France 2008 thanks steve... its not that i dont know what to take its more when i go fishing here locally its for 1 night on a 1 acre lake! so everything is kept light and simple..... that list covers everything i think.....suncream is hopeful though? i am fair skinned so i better make sure to bring some! __________________ fishing for fish is not as simple as you may think! |
