If you are travelling on the Motorway you will have to come off to find a supermarket, otherwise there is one in all good size villages. The supermarkets in the villages away from large towns tend to be cheaper.
Very seldom will the locals speak to you in English.

If you see an item in a supermarket that you like, buy it, as you may not see it again, even in the same named supermarket in another village.

The shops in most towns close for lunch between 1200 & 1400 including the supermarkets and filling stations. The ones that remain open will only accept Credit Cards and notes on some of the automatic pumps.
