Yep, got my E111 & insurance..... Also as A belt & braces approach, I shan't be drinking the local water either. I shall stick to bottled stuff............................................. ................................. i.e. Beer, Wine & Cider, now who's round is it?

Re: All systems go for France 2008

And don't forget your warning triangle and first aid box, I'm not sure how what the law is in France but I know it's law in Germany.

Did anyone mention beer?

Re: All systems go for France 2008

I have just come back from a trip to France ( work unfortunately) and the law has changed in July for driving in France.

You MUST have:-

GB sticker or European number plate with GB on it

warning triangle AND hi-vis vest

"the ability to change any exterior bulb at the roadside", this usually means a bulb kit

beam deflectors, even if only driving during the day

Also there is a good Samaritan law, you must offer roadside assistance in the event of an accident, they recommend a first aid kit and fire extinguisher, these are NOT compulsory.

I carry all but a fire extinguisher as I do not like one bouncing around in the van, and they are usually too small to be of any real use in a fuel fire.

Re: All systems go for France 2008

I see the Guys from Dynamite bais had a bait testing session out there. They did well with Fishmeal boilies.

Question Re: All systems go for France 2008

Just out of interest, what baits / loosefeeds are other expedition members taking with them?
