| shimano biomaster XSA 8000 Hi, I've not long been into carp fishing and upto now I've been happy with pva bags or catapult range fishing... But i've made a decision for when it warms up i'm going to try spodding i've found a cheap supplier locally for bait (or at least i think cheap15kg of vitalin = £9.55 or parti-blend 12.5kg = 5.65) I've brought a fox warrior spod rod and have been looking for a reel for the said spod rod Now a friend of a friend has offered me an unwanted xmas present(shimano biomaster XSA 8000 with 2 spare spools 7000 and 6000) for £55. Having a quick look online I know the price is good but as I've no idea what all the initials and numbers mean and I've never really looked at a big pit reel up close before, is this a good match for my spod rod or would it be better suited to my carp rod (wynchwood rouge 2.75 tc) Many thanks in advance magik __________________ http://www.caps.org.uk The Official unofficial CAPS Website |
