Re: bite alarms

i have got the mmx's and i dont have any problem with them (although i will say the battery's didnt seem to last very long) and i always keep the volume on minimum as im nearly always sat next to the rods surface fishing with a 3rd rod!

as for bite alarms though does it really make alot of difference which ones you buy so long as they beep when you get a bite and they are waterproof?

but on saying alll that i can see where the remote can come in handy as you could keep it in your bivvy at night!

Re: bite alarms

although i have a set of fox alarms (SX) and have been happy with them for years since they moved there alarms over to digital i think personal think they are not so good as they really do seem to have a problem with battery drain from what i heard alot said and even devon dave admitted it
