Re: Baitboat

I've been on another forum and someone had asked the same question, the response seemed quite positive except 4 the fact that many had sank or stranded at range due tothe profile and the front door where upon u can access the battery leaked causing power failure. Other than that it was ok.

Re: Baitboat

ok did not have a dynacraft bait boat but buying any boats the view points will be the same here goes.
i used to have a baitboat a viper brilliant bit of tackle tartness you could have got and with a £700 price tag it was exspensive too but after owning one i can see the pit falls and i would suggest to any one who is thinking of getting one ask your self why do i need one is it a look at me attitude like i did or need to get bait further than you can cast here in norfolk there is really no lake that you can put a boat that can,t be cast to and to fish further than you can cast is not really fishing and i hated my time with a bait boat it really was not fishing properly but that might be because of the way i like to fish and you also will get a lot of grief of fellow anglers maybe its because they are jealous or it might be they think there is no place for baitboats in fishing and another point is that alot and i mean alot of lake will not allow them ,but thats a different discusion if any one wants to start that thread so any way really think do you really need a bait boat cause i know now that i could have put that money i spent on it to much better use

Re: Baitboat

Certainly a a good point and i have had many considerations to weigh up before purchasing the boat. I did up until earlier this have a Technics baitboat with echo sounder and yes it took a lot of the skill out of Carping, but also made we lazy. Where as before placing your bait in and piling a shed load of freebies in and dropping it of on a plateaux or gravel bar i now have to lead round and plumb it all. Then have to accurately spod particles or pellets on the marked area, which does give u a better sense of acheivement i know. I seriously do not know where to go on this one!
