I fish the dorset lakes and i just use a method feeeder stuffed with ground bait a nice smelly boilie with some boiles and dog food in a mesh bag scatter some boilies around and i have a bit within about 1-2 hours usally about 15-30 pounds thats my advice

I Know people have said ''Just use sweetcorn, what boilies are working best, use luncheon meat ETC'', but the main thing people do is nowadays is never try their own cocktail type of bait, for example, i went fishing in exeter the otherday with my uncle gary, i made a hair rig with a inline method feeder, on the hair rig i put on a small cube of Bacon Grill finished off with a stem of indian hemp, i will try and upload some pics to show you, but at the moment my phone aint working,

so, even though people say, oh do this and do that, try out your own things, if your gonna make a method mix up for example, add some sweetcorn and puszta from lidl, it works wonders, and maybe add some maggot to a method mix aswell.

Try make your own boilies, buy your self the ingredients, which is semolina, ground rice, colouring, flavouring and a sweetner, get a sausage gun and put your mix in the sausage gun, squeeze onto the rolling table and pull the top half of the table over the sausage and there you have it, 200+ boilies.

You can also make the mix and roll them by hand because carp are getting suspicious of everyone using the same boilies etc, so try roll a few boilies by hand instead of making them all the same size.

another great way is to use just a small amount of groundbait ''VAN DEN ENYDE EXPO'' and try to add things to it, like, mini pieces of luncheon meat, hemp seed, sweetcorn, maize, bacon grill, cheese, small slices of ham, bread, pellets (make sure they are sinking), addatives, flavouring, and all other things that you may think work or not.

JUST TRY ANYTHING, WETHER IT WORKS OR NOT!

i have caught a far few carp ion my life n carp fishing pb so far 21 lb 6 oz and have had mirrors and cmmon double figured i have been fishing 2 years and i use a different rig for different lakes with different hotspots for where the cafp feed with their big fat mouths chopping your hookbait in half

oh yh find any features lillypads weed racks and gravel bars / pits
or find where they feed or the deeper parts of the lake try different pegs

or other pegs around you on the lake or pond u fish they could bea shortageof fishor some thing or just the rong spot/bait
