just heard that two-tone has been caught again at conningbrook,

she came out yesterday evening at 65lb 8oz, wow !

its the biggest resident in the lake,
the lake itself is only about 20 acres and holds about 30 known fish,it is a very hard water.blanks are commonplace (should suit me then

)

i had a walk round the lake the other day,it is not my sort of place,it is a bit bleak and windswept,give me a nice tree lined lake any time.

doesnt appeal to me at all
doesnt it kinda ruin the thrill knowing that other people have already caught the fish and have records for it, reminds me far to much of fishing for gold fish in a fish tank, just my view though
but dont you wanna catch a wild fish?

Ben, it is a wild fish, but I know what you mean. When people say that carp fishing is easy, thats bollocks, it takes time and a strategic mind to bring one to your net. Another way at looking at it is that carp anglers know Two Tone is in there so they see it as a challenge to catch her again, as an ultimate goal. To be truthful, she is one big fish and it's unlikely anyone of us would catch anything that size from lake, beach or boat. So I'd give big respect to to the angler that caught it, it's a terrific achievement, nice one

. By the way, no disrespect mate, just I'd re-dress the balance
