sunday 12th june - suffolk water park traditional lake

myself and suffolklegend(arron) decided to head off to suffolk water park with a nice early start at 7am.
we met two of our mates down there named liam and ross.

only a minute or so after casting out at about 7.30, arron had hooked into a bream. once we had banked it it pulled the scales around to 5lb 1oz.

in the next couple of hours, arron had 2 more runs, but failed to hook the fish.

then, arrons single rod screamed off for a forth time and he managed to hook and bank this fish, another bream weighing 3lb.

because myself, liam and ross hadnt had a single bite we decided to move around to where the water was flowing into the pegs.

this is where we started to get some success.

just 20mins after moving liam had a screamer on his rod and after a 4/5minute fight, landed a 7lb common carp.

then, about 10minutes after liams fish was returned to the water, i had a run on my left rod(i was using 2 rods, everybody else, 1rod). it gave me a great fight and after about 8mins i slid the net under a nice sized mirror. it weighed in at 7lb 8oz.

while i was playing this fish, arron had yet another run, and missed it yet again(didnt really look like it was his day).

after this, it went quiet for about 1.5/2hrs, but out of the blue my right sided rod started to scream away with line going out like anything! i struck into it, and was given yet another good fight and i banked a 6lb common carp.

then it took about another hour for the next fish to turn up, again to me. on my left rod, i had a run tht didnt actually sound to convincing that a fish was on the end of it. but i struck it anyway with a feeling that there was something. it ended up being a 4lb bream.

then 30 mins later and 40mins later from that bream, both me and liam banked another fish each, both 4lb bream!

a good days fishing for me, liam and arron. unfortunately not for ross because he didnt get a single run or drop-off!

PS. no pictures again. sorry. (this is due to having no digital camera, only a normal disposable. hoping to get a digital camera in the coming months )
