Koi Carp

Koi??? We consider them pets in the U.S. Do you eat them or just throw them back? I don't eat many fresh water species except large trout and salmon. I love to fish for large cats, but I don't eat them as they taste like mud. Its more fun to catch and release them to be caught again. I am working on a digital camera set up so I can post some pics.

all carp are returned over here, some evn get named , even though they were originally brought into this country as food for the monks etc, but on the continent thats another story(and i do have a few nice recipies in some old books, but will never try in uk)
