What is it you want to know then Jodz?

When you say "how best to set up my tackle" what tackle do you have?

Re: NEW to carp fishing! plz give me some tips!

It depends what size carp are in the lake you fish really.

I use 12lb mainline to a 15lb bs braided hooklink size 6 or 8 hair rig hook.

I don't think rigs matter to much, I just use a korda 1oz inline lead-swivel-hooklink.

Most baits will catch, meat, worms, boilies, bread, sweetcorn etc..

My favoured baits are boilies as they can stay on the hook for a long time, keep there flavour etc.. Although most of my biggest fish have come to luncheon meat.

Hope some of this may help.

If you need any more help, ask

HI

Just a quick question, do you guys use the anti-tangle tubing? I use a ledger and hair rig, does the tubing on the ledger link really make that much difference?

Thanks for any Info

Falve

Re: NEW to carp fishing! plz give me some tips!

Hi Valve.

I personally don't use the stuff and still catch plenty. However I have 2 mates who swear by the stuff, so it's personal preferences I guess.
